Judah 1_edited_edited_edited.jpg

God is closely acquainted with our pain, and during a dark night of the soul, the Lord gave me this image: a mighty lion with tears in his eyes. My heart was moved as he revealed himself to me as the “King of Compassion” - fierce and powerful, yet tender toward my emotions and willing to hold me while I weep. “When Jesus saw her weeping, he was deeply moved in Spirit… and Jesus wept.” (John 11:33-35)

Creation Hands 1_edited_edited_edited_edited.jpg

This painting came at a time when I wanted God to be tangible, someone I could touch. He met me in a powerful way and reminded me that He is not distant, but rather He is closer than we think. And his greatest desire in every moment of every day is to be WITH US. "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Mary 0_edited_edited_edited.jpg

This painting embodies the heart of Mary, a woman captivated by the presence of Jesus. Even when the cost of surrender is high, there is no one else worthy of it all. "A woman came to Jesus with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head. The disciples were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked… Jesus said, “She has done a beautiful thing to me." (Matthew 26:6-10)

Lakeside 1_edited_edited_edited.jpg

This painting came out of a time when my mind felt chaotic and I needed God’s peace to come and bring rest to my soul. His peace came as I painted the serene water and tranquil landscape. May this painting bless your soul and your home with peace. “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Aslan 1_edited_edited_edited.jpg

This painting was inspired by Aslan the lion, one of my favorite characters in literature. To me, Aslan reflects the heart of God in profound ways - fierce yet loving, all powerful yet eternally good. "Is he safe? No, but he’s good.” - Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.

Anchored 1_edited.jpg

I painted this during a time when life felt tumultuous. The wind and waves were beating against me, and I knew I needed God to anchor me. I needed someone to hold me fast and remind me that through the pain and through the trials, I am not alone. “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” (Hebrews 6:9)

Lion Front_Paper 2_edited.jpg

The Lion of Judah series is an exploration of the many facets of the Lord’s character as pictured in the lions’s face - from fierce and powerful to gentle and compassionate, from full of strength and authority to having palpable love and goodness in his eyes. “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered.” (Revelation 5:5)

Eve_Paper 2_edited_edited.jpg

This piece explores the blissful garden moments before the fall, when Eve lived free from shame and condemnation, in perfect oneness with God. “The man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed”. (Genesis 2:25)
